position.
YOUR TASKS
» Doctoral thesis in the Academy‘s fields of research
(European and international human rights protection,
constitutional and public international law, Eastern
European law)
» Organizing and participating in events and research
projects
» Assisting in teaching (tutorials, moot court, etc.)
YOUR PROFILE
» (German) first or second state exam (grade obtained
at least ‘vollbefriedigend‘ in the state part) or an
equivalent excellent foreign law degree
» Profound knowledge in the area of international human
rights law as well as public international law and consti-
tutional law
» Excellent English proficiency as well as another foreign
language
» Keen interest in research
» Ability to work in a team

The position is available from 1 September 2025 on a
part-time basis (19,92 hours per week). The position is
to be filled for a fixed term until 31 August 2027. If the
applicant meets the relevant wage requirements and
personal qualifications, the salary will be based on remu-
neration group 13 TV-L of the pay scale for the German
public sector.
