Your role
As Application Technologist / PADT (m/f/d) you will be part of our Center of Excellence Sweet where you will support and enable the Food & Beverage EAME strategy by developing high quality, market relevant powdered beverage solutions and product concepts using existing and newly developed Symrise ingredients and technologies as well as by representing the technical competence of Symrise at our customers.
This role is a fulltime position to be located in our Global Headquarter in Holzminden, Germany.
- You manage an effective project work on customer requests.
- You are responsible for the development and preparation of high quality powdered beverage formulations (instant drinks, coffee mixes, milk modifiers and hot/cold tea) as well as ready-to-drink samples according to the customer requirements.
- You develop new and innovative product concepts in close cooperation with Flavor Creation, Portfolio Management, Category and Marketing.
- You drive the evaluation of new technologies and raw materials.
- You are the main point of contact for selected customers with respect to new powdered beverage concepts and formulations.
- You manage customer workshops and customer product development within the dry beverage application and development laboratory.
- You collaborate closely with purchasing, sales and production.
About you
- You successfully completed your academic degree in Beverage Technology or an equivalent education
- You have at least 2 years of professional experience within the Food & Beverage or Flavor Industry.
- You have excellent technical skills and product know how in dry beverage formulation and powder technology.
- You have a high level of creativity and good communication and networking skills.
- You're fluent in business English and ideally have a good command of another major language such as German.
