About the role
As a Process and Development Coordinator (m/f/d), you will play a key role in ensuring excellence, consistency, and knowledge-sharing across BayWa r.e.’s renewable energy projects worldwide. You will act as a central point of contact for project standards, risk assessment, and cross-country collaboration. Working closely with project developers, operational teams, and senior leadership, you will ensure that best practices, tools, and processes are implemented and maintained to drive high-quality project delivery across all markets.
As a Process and Development Coordinator (m/f/d), you will play a key role in ensuring excellence, consistency, and knowledge-sharing across BayWa r.e.’s renewable energy projects worldwide. You will act as a central point of contact for project standards, risk assessment, and cross-country collaboration. Working closely with project developers, operational teams, and senior leadership, you will ensure that best practices, tools, and processes are implemented and maintained to drive high-quality project delivery across all markets.
What you will do
- Facilitate structured knowledge exchange between local development teams to share best practices, benchmark data, and lessons learned.
- Coordinate trainings, peer-learning sessions, and cross-country knowledge initiatives to strengthen project development capabilities.
- Standardize procedures, templates, and tools in HSE, ESG, communication, and project development.
- Support implementation of harmonized systems such as GIS, CRM, and landscaping tools across local entities.
- Collect feedback to continuously improve processes, tools, and documentation practices.
- Maintain and promote a consistent library of templates and best practices to reduce inefficiencies and risks.
- Assist in onboarding new Project Developers and provide guidance on approval processes, including RFDs, RFD+, and RFIs.
- Support process management tools such as Signavio and ensure necessary approvals are followed up.
- Ensure consistent project quality standards, KPIs, and early-stage decision-making guidelines across all countries.
- Coordinate project risk assessment, involving legal, insurance, sales, and other key departments, ensuring cross-country comparability.
- Support strategic alignment by implementing pipeline and portfolio strategy measures and prioritization of projects.
- Coordinate resource allocation, mobility, and handover processes from development to execution.
- Serve as a central support point for local teams to save time, ensure compliance with group standards, and promote alignment across functions.
What you’ll need to succeed
- A degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Energy or Environmental Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in project coordination, process management, or business transformation, preferably in a corporate or international environment focused on renewable energy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
- Proven ability to facilitate knowledge-sharing, drive cross-functional collaboration, and manage multiple stakeholders.
- High level of independence, ownership, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus.
- Familiarity with process documentation, change management, and performance monitoring tools is a strong advantage.
- Experience with project governance, operational coordination, or supporting senior leadership is a plus.
