We are looking for a customer-obsessed Principal Product Manager at our headquarters in Berlin who strives to build high quality products in one of Berlin's top Startups.
You will work on product management for our Payments team, responsible for developing new and scalable payment solutions in the healthtech space. You will regularly engage with executive leadership and collaborate with development and business teams to define the international product strategy, build the product roadmap, and lead its execution. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll be expected to lead both strategically and tactically - diving deep into business and technical domains to drive results day-to-day.

What you’ll get to do
- Drive Product Discovery: Using continuous discovery methods to thoroughly explore and understand our customers' problems, uncover opportunities, conduct experiments, and brainstorm solutions. Build and own a healthtech product with a real impact on patients.
- Lead Feature Development: Work closely with Engineering, Design, and cross-functional teams to to drive the full cycle of building features — from ideation to kickoff. Lead the process, ensuring the delivery of products that delight our customers and set market standards. Supervise a team of highly skilled engineers to achieve exceptional results.
- Develop Product Strategy: Focus on initiatives that significantly benefit our customers and help us achieve our company OKRs. Define success criteria and use metrics to track progress towards your goals.
- Foster Collaboration: Work closely with the founding team towards a shared vision. Ensure alignment on your roadmap and KPIs across the organization.
- Customer-Centric Decision Making: Make decisions that prioritize the customer, even when challenging. At Nelly, "customer first" is one of our core values. Build expertise in your product area through a combination of customer research, analytics, and market analysis. Start small, learn fast to build knowledge.
What you'll bring
- 6+ years of product management experience, with a focus on payments or fintech products
- Technical acumen with experience working closely with engineers on APIs, data flows, and system architectures
- Deep understanding of digital payment flows, including debit/credit card processing, refund handling, reconciliation, and fraud prevention
- Experience working with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) in an international context, preferably with Adyen
- Track record of successfully developing and executing product roadmaps for B2B products with measurable business impact within health and fintech
- Proven experience in owning and driving product roadmaps, from strategy to end-to-end feature delivery
- Proven ability to make data-driven decisions and effectively prioritize competing demands
- Conduct thorough research to identify trends, customer needs, and competition
- Excellent team-player mentality, fostering collaboration across functions
- Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as PCI-DSS, TSE, and GDPR, especially within healthcare
- Proficiency in German (C1 to C2) and English (both required). Spanish and/or Italian is a plus
