• Implementation of a wide variety of methods: molecular biology methods (RT-PCR, RNA isolation, cloning), biochemical methods (e.g. SDS-PAGE, Western blot), immunological methods (immunofluorescence, FACS) and cell biological methods (e.g. cell culture, transfections), mouse experiments.
• Independent planning, preparation, execution, analysis, and presentation of predominantly immunological and molecular biological experiments
• Analysis, documentation, and archiving of experimental data; conducting computer-assisted research in genomic databases; analysis and management of data on the computer
• Receipt and archiving of patient materials and data (patient documentation); training other laboratory staff in new methods; providing intensive support to doctoral candidates and students
• Publication of research findings and presentation of data at scientific conferences
• Pursuing independent professional development through literature review and active participation in conferences and symposia

• Completed university studies with a doctorate
• Good practical experience in diverse cell biological and immunological research skills and with the methods mentioned above
• Experience in cell culture and animal experiments is an advantage
• Applicants should be reliable and able to work in a team
• Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and GraphPad Prism
