Dyson has been active on the German market since 1998. Based in Cologne, Dyson Germany is responsible for the distribution and marketing of Dyson products at national level.
About the role
As a Dyson Merchandiser, you are the contact for retailers in your region. We are currently looking for people for the Bavaria (Franken/Niederbayern) region. In addition to communicating and looking after the markets, your focus is on implementing a successful sell-out strategy to position our products in the best possible way.
The position is limited to 12 months- Expansion of existing customer contacts
- Planning and implementation of innovative marketing strategies
- Conception, development and implementation of advertising measures/promotions based on the Dyson marketing plan
- Holistic responsibility for all retail marketing measures at the point of sale, e.g. POS furniture and presentation of marketing activities in the corporate design
- Support of POS and shop-in-shops
- Presentation, introduction and training of products at the point of sale as well as training of the staff employed by the trading partner
- Personnel responsibility for the specialist consultants employed in your region
- Close cooperation with Sales Management & Key Account Management, internal sales and the marketing department
About you
- Completed training as a retail salesperson, visual merchandiser, salesperson, or a related qualification
- Willingness to travel and a driver's license to get to our various locations.
- Passionate about innovative Dyson products and technology and the courage to proactively contribute ideas and provide feedback.
- Professional experience in sales and/or (trade) marketing - ideally in the field of technical consumer goods
- High affinity for technology
- Residence in the sales region (since the place of work is home office)
- Good IT skills in the current MS Office programs
- Good knowledge of German and English
