- Create, update, and evaluate a targeted press strategy
- Gain and apply a deep understanding of company goals, milestones, and strategic priorities to shape a cohesive, long-term content narrative across owned and earned channels
- End-to-end ownership of press release execution including authoring, distribution, interview coordination, and post-release analytics
- Maintain and expand a comprehensive press contact list spanning local, national, European, and global media
- Own and enforce leak prevention and crisis communication protocols
- Serve as the primary contact for all incoming media inquiries via multiple channels and provide strategic advice on accepting or declining requests
- Schedule and coordinate media engagements for C-level executives
- Prepare information, secure approvals, and supply necessary materials for media interactions
- Support senior leadership in crafting clear, consistent, and impactful public messaging
- Lead the end-to-end process for identifying, applying to, and managing industry awards and recognitions
- Drive and leverage associated press coverage to amplify brand credibility and visibility
- Lead ownership of organic content strategy including LinkedIn, blog posts, and third-party industry content platforms
- Ensure consistent presence in online forums and industry platforms to strengthen brand voice
- Continuously explore and secure placements on influential industry platforms
- Build and scale a high-performing communications team to support international growth, including dedicated resources for key markets like the US
- Provide hands-on leadership to the communications team covering press, public relations, and organic social media
- Own team budgeting and purchasing, including annual budget planning and reporting
- Proven experience in press relations, media engagement, and corporate communications; experience in semiconductor, tech, or B2B sectors is a plus
- Strong editorial skills, with the ability to write and edit press releases, media briefs, and public statements
- Strategic thinker with demonstrated experience developing and measuring impactful communication strategies
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with experience managing and scaling teams
- Adept at crisis and leak-prevention communication frameworks
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including design and executive stakeholders
- Fluent in English and German at a native or equivalent level
- Experience with digital and social media communications an asset
- Understanding of EU and US media landscapes preferred
