During your internship you'll have the following tasks:
- Supporting team members with programme- or country-specific requests, including the preparation of standard services to be delivered and conceptualisation of work packages; also responsible for administrative support such as minute-taking, maintaining up-to-date records, and tracking project documentation
- Presentation of the project and its results through social media, website, communication materials; working with the PEEB team and external consultants
- Research on Green Buildings for PEEB publications (e.g., NDCs, financing through Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, gender inclusivity in buildings and construction, calculating emissions from buildings and construction); preparation of presentations or background documents
- Contributing to PEEB’s participation, including the climate conferences and other international energy meetings; organising webinars and PEEB donor meetings
- Updating partnership monitoring activities, including the overall operational plan, individual country workplans, workshops, events, and related tasks
- We are looking for analytic thinking, excellent writing skills, social media affinity and creativity, and a passion for the built environment
- Studies in a relevant field, ideally with a focus on energy efficiency, climate and sustainability in buildings, climate and environment, urban planning, or communications for sustainability
- Knowledge of international energy and climate challenges in the buildings sector; basic knowledge about development cooperation
- Experience with social media, graphic design or communications is an asset
- Team player, proactive and curious self-starter
- Organisational skills to manage tasks independently
- Excellent language skills in English are required; knowledge of French/Spanish and German is an asset
