Job Title: HVAC Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and certified HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong technical background and a commitment to providing high-quality service to ensure all climate control systems operate efficiently and reliably.
Key Responsibilities:
System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on a variety of HVAC systems, including inspecting, cleaning, and replacing parts to ensure optimal performance.
Installation & Repair: Install new HVAC systems and components. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues and perform necessary repairs on existing equipment.
Preventative Care: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce the likelihood of system failures.
Customer Service: Respond to service calls promptly, provide clear communication to clients about repair options, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate records of all work performed, parts used, and hours spent on each job.
Technical Expertise: Stay current with the latest HVAC technology, tools, and industry best practices.
Desired Qualifications:
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of a vocational program, technical school, or an associate's degree in HVAC or a related field is a significant plus.
Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician. Experience with commercial and industrial systems is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Strong knowledge of HVAC system components, refrigerants, and tools.
Leadership: Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certification: A valid driver's license is required. EPA Section 608 certification is mandatory. Additional certifications (e.g., NATE) are highly valued.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Requires the ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces for extended periods.
Must be able to work in various conditions, including exposure to high and low temperatures, loud noise, dust, and confined spaces.
