In your new role you will:
- Contribute to defining the long term foundry strategy and drive its implementation
- Mentor and provide direction to employees in daily sourcing business, including negotiation strategy
- Ensure alignment with central procurement team and compliance with processes and methods
- Drive continuous improvement in processes and tooling to improve efficiency and speed of execution
- Lead foundry negotiations and selection to support the foundry roadmap , including price and capacity negotiations (annual basis or multi annual) in alignment with global Key Account Managers, contract amendment and extension
- Monitor and report on savings and purchasing volume projections for foundries and secure capacity in short and long term.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A minimum of 12 years working experience in the semiconductor industry, experienced with foundries and/or procurement is an added advantage.
- A strategic and analytic mindset and toolset
- An existing strong network, preferably including Asia foundries
- Very good communication skills across the different management levels
- Relevant working experience in international teams
- Business fluent English
