Aufgabe
- Lead and guide the team of People Business Partners within the assigned Division Industry & Infrastructure (I&I), in Region Germany.
- Act as the primary People contact for assigned business areas within Division I&I, providing both strategic and operational People support, including but not limited to performance management, succession planning, potential assessments, talent development, and conflict resolution.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to senior management on all People-related matters.
- Act as Head of People for TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH (3,500 employees in Germany) and support the management / labor director in all relevant People topics.
- Drive the implementation of the overall People strategy in alignment with business strategies and global People objectives, and support the implementation of global People initiatives (e.g. talent & performance management, engagement, M&A).
- Support and lead organizational change initiatives as a proactive change agent (e.g. organizational development, business transformation projects, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with internal People policies, standards, and all relevant legal requirements.
- Promote standardization and continuous improvement of People processes and tools across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with global People Business Partner for Division I&I, Centers of Expertise (CoEs) and Center of People Solutions (CoPS).
- Drive strategic workforce planning in alignment with the division s People Business Partner, and collaborate closely with the CoPS team to deliver.
- Serve as the main point of contact and negotiation counterpart for works councils within assigned entities.
- Provide data-driven insights and reporting to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Strengthen cross-functional and cross-country collaboration within the People community.
Qualifikation
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Recognized HR expert with more than 10 years of professional and leadership experience, ideally in a multinational or group-owned organization
- Proven ability to advise leadership teams and employees on strategic People matters and to develop key People materials
- Demonstrated experience in leveraging and adapting modern People technology systems to enhance administrative and service capabilities
- Strong track record in advising senior management, coaching leaders on people-related topics, and developing strategic People solutions
- Skilled in building partnerships and influencing stakeholders across organizational boundaries to support key initiatives
- Strong customer orientation and enthusiasm for agile working methods, combined with an independent and solution-oriented approach
- Experience in collaborating with works councils and trade unions, ideally within a company governed by collective bargaining agreements
- Proven experience in supporting change processes and organizational development initiatives
- Excellent communication and consulting skills, paired with a high level of initiative
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken (business proficiency, min. C1)
