Key Role:
Produces graphic designs, using a variety of techniques and software, for both print and electronic communications, such as promotions, advertisements, and instructional materials distributed through a variety of media outlets. Applies advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, for creating visual presentations and briefing materials
Experience with 508 compliance, to design and develop accessible products
Knowledge of the DoD and the Intelligence Community (IC)
Ability to translate complex information into clear and concise visuals, including Map Publisher
Ability to work with the client to define project requirements and create designs that effectively communicate key messages
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, secure environments
Ability to present design concepts and recommendations effectively
Ability to provide a portfolio demonstrating a wide range of graphic design capabilities, including examples of informational graphics, data visualizations, and presentations
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in Graphic Design or 7+ years of experience in Graphic Design in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with creating isometric illustrations or custom iconography
Experience with Dreamweaver, Flash, and Captivate.
Experience with producing both static, animated visual solutions and designing for both print and digital media.
Knowledge of information architecture and usability best practices in multimedia design.
Ability to communicate directly with clients to gather requirements and present concepts.
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
