Core responsibilities:
Figma File Preparation for Translation
- Work directly in Figma to identify translatable content
- Prepare the files for translation
- Export the content for translation, we recommend xliff-translate free plugin
- Import translated files back into Figma
- Perform DTP adjustments such us fixing layout issues
Required skills and experience:
- Figma knowledge in the context of DTP and localization (no need to design from the scratch)
- Experience working on multilingual Figma files, also for Asian languages
- Understanding of font handling in Figma, especially for Asian languages
- Experience with file preparation for CAT tools
- Familiarity with Figma localization plugins (exporting/importing files)
- Availability: 15-20 hours per month
