Job description
For more than 95 years, ERICH JAEGER has been developing and manufacturing high-quality connectors for various industries and serves many well-known manufacturers from the automotive and agricultural industry. Currently, more than 1000 employees work at our corporate headquarters in Germany, our production sites in Mexico, the Czech Republic, China, Germany and Moldova as well as sales offices in the USA, France, Poland and Italy.
To strengthen our team in Friedberg in the Frankfurt/Main area, we are looking for you as a Cost Estimator (m/f/d) for Components and Processes. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and reviewing product calculations in series production as well as for new customer inquiries. Additionally, you will prepare plan-actual comparisons and conduct variance analyses of manufacturing costs in series production.
Tasks
- Creation and review of product calculations in series production and for new customer inquiries
- Preparation of plan-actual comparisons and variance analyses of manufacturing costs in series production
- Conducting cost analyses, including material, labor, and overhead costs
- Performing contribution margin calculations to determine profitability
- Supporting the development of new controlling tools
Requirements
- Completed studies in Business Administration/Industrial Engineering or a comparable commercial/technical education
- Several years of professional experience in a production environment, ideally in assembly, injection molding, or cable manufacturing
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and SAP R/3, ideally S/4HANA
- Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
- Familiarity with parts lists and product assemblies
- Conscientious and results-oriented working style
- Enjoyment in the development of processes and systems
