🛠️ The Role: Automation Intern – Investment Ops @ HV Capital
We’re looking for a sharp, technically strong intern to help us scale our internal operations through smart automation. This is a hands-on role where you’ll own the design and implementation of internal tools and workflows that help our investment professionals move faster and smarter.
🔍 What You'll Do
Work closely with investment team members to identify friction in day-to-day workflows.
Design and implement automation solutions that streamline repetitive tasks and data flows
Build internal tools and scripts that integrate with APIs (e.g., CRM, dealflow, market data)
Use low-code platforms (n8n) or pure code, depending on the task complexity
Manage data pipelines and ensure reliable storage and access across platforms
Help define the tech infrastructure for long-term workflow automation
Requirements
🧠 What We're Looking For
Technical Skills (Must-Have):
Proficient in TypeScript or JavaScript
Experience working with REST APIs
Strong understanding of data structuring and database management
Able to build and debug scripts and automations independently
Bonus Skills:
Familiarity with n8n, or similar low-code automation platforms
Basic UI/UX for internal tools (e.g., Retool, internal dashboards)
Experience with cloud functions or serverless architecture
