Our platform is anchored by three flagship initiatives:
- The Merantix AI Campus in Berlin is a 6,000 sqm hub in the heart of the city, home to over 80 AI startups, investors, industry AI teams, and public organizations. Hosting more than 300 events annually, it brings together founders, operators, industry leaders, investors, and policymakers to dive deep into AI infrastructure and applied AI across sectors such as healthcare, biotech, industrials, and the future of work.
- The London AI Hub, our newest initiative and commitment to our pan-European footprint.
- The AI House, with its flagship meeting held annually during the World Economic Forum, features contributions from pioneers like Yann LeCun, Andrew Ng, Yoshua Bengio, Raquel Urtasun, and investor Ray Dalio.
Your role
As a AI Content & Social Media Intern, you’ll play a vital role in amplifying the voice of our AI ecosystem by creating compelling, strategic, and educational content for a global audience. You’ll work closely with our marketing team, startup founders, and ecosystem partners to showcase the work, insights, and people building the future of AI.
This is an exciting opportunity for a curious, creative, and technically-minded individual who is not only passionate about content creation and social media, but also eager to immerse themselves even further in the AI and startup world.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting our marketing team in creating content that informs, and adds value, about AI technologies, research, startups, or ecosystem news.
- Creation of multimedia promotion for events, and producing post-event content (e.g. posters, event recaps, social media posts, photos, video snippets, etc.).
- Analyzing content performance through data insights and helping define KPIs to optimize content strategy.
- Planning, producing, and recording content such as founder interviews, AI explainer videos, and social media clips.
- Brainstorming and proposing creative ideas to strengthen our brand and digital presence.
- Working hand-in-hand with the marketing team to execute marketing strategies aligned with business and community goals.
Your profile
- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in graphic design, film & photography, communication design, media technology, or a related field.
- You are experienced with common design and production tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom, AfterEffects, Canva, Figma, etc.
- You are passionate about content creation and digital storytelling within the context of artificial intelligence, technology, and startups.
- You are comfortable navigating and discussing topics related to AI and innovation, and are curious to dive deeper into the space.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- You work in a structured and independent manner, eager to tackle new challenges and meet deadlines reliably.
- You are comfortable using tools like Notion for project and content planning.
- You have solid knowledge of content creation, graphic design, social media, and video production.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset, and enjoy taking ownership of projects and contributing new ideas.
