Focus: Energy Sector
This role is crucial for expanding Nokia's presence in the German enterprise market, specifically within the energy sector. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new customers, building strong relationships with existing accounts and partners, and driving sales growth.
Your tasks:
- Prospecting and acquiring new customers in the energy sector
- Managing relationships with prospects, existing accounts, and partners
- Collaborating with pre-sales experts and partners to achieve sales targets
- Managing sales forecasts and CRM tools
- Winning business in a competitive market and achieving year-over-year growth
- Leading the entire sales process from opportunity identification to deal closure
- Developing strategies to mitigate competitive threats
- Leading cross-functional deal teams
Travel: Up to 50%
Requirements for the role:
- Bilingual: Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
- Sales Expertise: Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in the technology sector, specifically selling to communications service providers or the energy/utility, public sector, or other vertical segments
- Customer Focus: Committed to high standards of customer satisfaction, quality, and responsiveness
- Communication & Presentation Skills: Polished communication and strong presentation skills
- Interpersonal Skills: Confident, charismatic, and able to build strong relationships
- Proactive & Adaptable: Highly flexible and takes initiative
- Solution Selling: Proven ability to effectively sell solutions
- Telecom Industry Knowledge: Broad and deep understanding of the telecom industry
- Negotiation Skills: Skilled negotiator with the ability to influence and persuade
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles
Qualifications & Education:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, telecommunications, business, or a related field
- Experience: 5+ years of proven direct sales experience in the telecommunications/IT & related services industry. Enterprise sales experience is highly preferred
- Market Expertise: Strong understanding of the German market and industry dynamics, including competitor trends, with specific knowledge of IP, Optics, and Fixed Access Networks solutions
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to identify, qualify, and close deals, consistently exceeding sales targets
- Collaboration Skills: Experience working within a matrix organization and effective communication skills across all levels
