As a Working Student (f/m/x) you will be part of the Outbound Operations team which is in charge of managing the logistics behind our e-commerce business across Europe. We manage carrier relationships, analyse performance data, and optimize tools and processes to ensure fast, cost-efficient deliveries and a seamless customer experience. The goal of the position is to enhance our outbound logistics by improving the tracking and reporting of operational projects and initiatives, focusing on cost optimization and invoice auditing. Through this role, you’ll learn and grow in a dynamic, data-driven environment—playing a key role in supporting informed decisions, continuous improvement, and cost control across our logistics network. What you will do:
- Optimize carrier invoice auditing processes to guarantee accurate review of all invoices, correction of surcharges, and improve the cost control systems
- Analyze large data sets to identify issues in shipments cost calculations
- Build tracking and reporting for key initiatives devoted to rationalization of outbound operations
- Monitor internal logistic systems and tools to identify issues, provide immediate fixes and long-term solutions
- Collaborate with the customer service team to manage questions related to lost and damaged parcels or return shipments
What we are looking for:
- Enrolled student at a German university in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Operations, Data Analytics or a related field, for at least another year
- Prior work experience in Operations, Project Management, or Analytics
- Available to work 20 hours per week, with 2 days on site at our Berlin headquarters
- Proficiency in Excel, including INDEX/MATCH, PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and SUMIF functions
- Experience with SQL
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Fluency in English; German is a plus
