Job Title: Warehouse Technician
Department: Base Operations
Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and skilled Warehouse Technician to manage and execute all aspects of our Base Operations warehouse. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and reliable individual with a strong understanding of inventory management, logistics, and equipment operation. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing products, ensuring the warehouse remains organized, efficient, and compliant with all safety standards for base-wide support.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments. Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure stock levels are correct for base supplies.
Material Handling: Operate various types of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to safely move, stack, and retrieve products.
Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment, ensuring all orders are processed in a timely manner to support base-wide needs.
Warehouse Organization: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including proper storage of all materials and equipment.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. Conduct routine checks on equipment and the work environment to identify and mitigate hazards.
Desired Qualifications:
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
Technical Skills: Proven ability to operate warehouse equipment. Experience with inventory management software is a plus.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
Certification: A valid forklift operator's certification is highly preferred.
