Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Real Estate, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience leading negotiations and business development.
- Experience negotiating or supporting the negotiation of bilateral real estate agreements, managing projects of varying sizes and timelines.
- Ability to communicate in German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with any of the following: site selection for industrial-scale projects, real estate transaction, real estate evaluation, acquisition, development, construction, discussing or managing utility agreements, energy-related issues, implementation of clean energy initiatives, financial modeling, large collocation agreements.
- Experience in indirect taxes, economic development policy, financial modeling, infrastructure development, agreement drafting and redlining, and presentation development.
- Experience acquiring or developing data centers or similar industrial assets within the DACH market.
- Knowledge of power transmission and distribution, telecommunications infrastructure, data center technology, industrial class electrical and cooling technology, and other related areas.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the market strategy for data center acquisition and development within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
- Lead complex negotiations for data center capacity, securing colocation leases and development agreements with operators, developers, and financial partners.
- Build and manage a robust opportunity pipeline by performing market analysis and cultivating key relationships with industry partners, economic officials, and utilities.
- Drive projects from conception to completion by leading cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, including Capacity Planning, Energy, Design, Construction, and Legal.
- Manage the existing DACH portfolio, overseeing growth strategy, developing performance metrics, and reporting on progress, financials, and market trends to senior leadership.
