- Lead the installation and commissioning of Etch area cluster equipment, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and technical specifications
- Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Etch processes and equipment, minimizing downtime and enhancing overall productivity
- Collaborate with process engineering teams to implement equipment upgrades and optimize Etch processes to improve yield and performance
- Conduct regular audits and preventive maintenance on Etch equipment to ensure long-term reliability and optimal performance
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including installation procedures, maintenance schedules, and training materials specific to the Etch area
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, sharing in-depth knowledge of Etch cluster equipment and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in equipment engineering, with a focus on Etch cluster equipment in a semiconductor manufacturing (FAB) environment
- Proven expertise in the operation, installation, and maintenance of Etch cluster equipment, including RIE (Reactive Ion Etching) and ALE (Atomic Layer Etching)
- Strong understanding of the impact of Etch equipment on wafer processing and related techniques
- Proficient in data analysis and process control methodologies, including SPC (Statistical Process Control), specifically in the context of deposition and Etch processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and deliver training when required. Fluency in English is essential
- Solid knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory standards in semiconductor manufacturing, especially as they relate to Etch technologies
- Strong problem-solving abilities and proven capability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
