About the role (What you’ll be doing)
We are seeking an exceptional Google suite expert to lead and own our aggressive search channel growth in Germany. The lead will drive successful search marketing campaigns across Google’s ecosystem, leveraging deep expertise in all current Google products—including advanced campaign types. If Google Search is your arena, you’ve mastered working in regulated industries, and the thought of deploying seven-figure budgets each month excites you — we want to meet you.
- Own the Google Search growth strategy for Germany, driving measurable performance across Performance Max, Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube, and Gmail.
- Stay ahead of the curve — monitor new Google features, products, betas, and policy changes, especially in regulated environments like healthcare.
- Lead A/B and multivariate landing page tests, translating performance data into actionable optimisation.
- Work closely with design, analytics, and development teams to boost CTR, CVR, and ROAS.
- Analyse competitors, find growth gaps, and implement world-class bidding and targeting strategies.
- Monitor performance with Google Analytics, Search Console, and Looker Studio, providing clear and data-rich reporting.
- Partner with Allocation & Performance Managers to define budget allocations, and with our Growth Lead to execute market-winning strategies.
- Build a culture of experimentation and iteration — embedding testing into every layer of our marketing and product approach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including product, engineering, design, and marketing, to align on testing priorities and ensure seamless execution.
About You (Who We’re Looking For)
Requirements
- 4+ years in search/paid media and hands-on Google campaign management.
- Deep understanding of Google Ads (including Performance Max), product ecosystem, and analytics tools.
- Proven experience planning, executing, and interpreting landing page experiments.
- Analytical mind, creative problem-solver, and effective communicator.
- Comfortable in highly regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, pharma, insurance) and understand the nuances of compliance.
- Ability to form data-driven hypotheses, define success metrics, and clearly communicate test results and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, curiosity, and a growth mindset — always looking for ways to improve the user journey and drive better outcomes.
- Experience in D2C, consumer, or subscription-based businesses is essential — you understand how to optimize for acquisition, retention, and lifetime value while balancing the challenges that come with advertising in the healthcare space.
- Strong communication skills in German and English, both written and verbal; able to clearly present ideas, test outcomes, and insights to cross-functional teams.
- A deep understanding of German consumer behavior, with the ability to localize strategies and messaging for maximum impact in the German market.
