Your Impact
You will be part of a critical team that ensures life-saving technology can be manufactured reliably and consistently. You will work with a team of talented manufacturing engineers to support the equipment, processes and personnel in our manufacturing facility for Axon’s De-Escalation Devices & accessories.
What You’ll Do
Location: Dietzenbach
Reports to: Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Engineering
- Provide prompt support to the production lines in response to process or equipment needs.
- Develop manufacturing and test processes by studying product requirements.
- Research, design, modify, and test manufacturing methods and equipment.
- Provide engineering guidance to manufacturing employees.
- Partner with Quality, R&D, Product, and Automation teams to ensure production outputs meets product and customer specifications.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in high volume manufacturing industries.
- Applied knowledge of common manufacturing principles and standards.
- Structured problem-solving ability.
- Ability to create clear, comprehensive, and concise documentation.
- Experience with LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, or other test automation software.
- Experience working with embedded Linux-based systems.
- Experience with LTE/Cellular systems is preferred but not required.
Work Location: This role is based out of our Dietzenbach office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.
