SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Junior VOIP / VTC Engineering Specialist to support US Army requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Essential Job Duties
- Assist in the design and configuration of voice, video, and data communications systems.
- Support the installation and basic maintenance of VOIP/VTC equipment.
- Help with the operation and maintenance of IT communication services.
- Perform basic installation, troubleshooting, and replacement of VOIP and secure voice end-user devices under supervision.
- Accompany senior staff on site surveys to learn issue resolution.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or AA with 2+ years of experience, or high school with 4 years of relevant experience.
- An active in scope Secret security clearance.
- DOD Cyber Work Force (DCWF) 411 Certs: A+ or Network+ or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to follow processes, procedures, and direction to support client needs.
Work Environment
- Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations.
- Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700
- May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
- It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
