About this Position
The Henkel Consumer Brands Process technology department supports the business with state-of-the-art process technology concepts. We are offering 6-month internship to highly motivated and talented student who love to contribute the ideas to our international projects. We are searching for a skilled and motivated student having expertise in computational fluid dynamics simulation, preferably, but not mandatory on the COMSOL MULTIPHYSICS platform.What you´ll do
- Develop Computational Fluid Dynamics simulation for consumer brands, with main focus on detergents building a material and CAD library
- Thrive a simulation for the processing of laundry detergents
- Perform lab work related to the build up of materials data base, e.g. flow curve measurements
- Develop new test methods for material characterization
- Document and present technical results
- Work in a cross functional team with engineers and chemists on transferring consumer needs into technical solutions
What makes you a good fit
- Preferably master student in chemical engineering, physics, material science, mechanical engineering, process engineering or technical chemistry
- Expertise in computational fluid dynamics simulation
- Agile thinker, open to new things, curious, self-motivated
- Interdisciplinary, out of box thinking
- Good English language skills, German language skills would be beneficial as well
- A good team worker and communicator with sound understanding of rheology and basic understanding of chemistry
- Openness to run easy experiments like e.g. rheological characterizations

We offer you an attractive salary between € 1050-2095. The exact amount of the remuneration depends on the desired duration, the type of internship (voluntary or mandatory) and existing degrees.
