Travel Requirements: This role offers the opportunity to travel across our European sites. You’ll be based in Germany around 50% of the time, with the remaining weeks spent visiting different locations across Europe. Travel is typically scheduled on a week-on, week-off basis.

Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a Head of Market - Europe Central to join us on a permanent basis. Based at our European Headquarters in Hallbergmoos (Munich area), Germany, you will report directly to the Regional Director for EMEA.
This is a pivotal leadership role, steering the performance of 34 retailers across 19 European markets and managing a team of six direct reports within our 30-strong regional office. You will shape and deliver sales, aftersales and customer experience targets, ensuring Bentley continues to set the benchmark for luxury and performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving sales and aftersales performance across vehicles, options and parts & accessories.
- Leading the retailer network to deliver world-class customer experiences and long-term profitability.
- Representing the region at Bentley Headquarters, influencing strategy and ensuring alignment with global objectives.
- Managing budgets, KPIs and commercial programmes that support sustainable growth.
- Coaching, developing and empowering your team of six direct reports to deliver success and succession.

The Europe Central regional team sits at the heart of Bentley’s global Sales & Marketing function, ensuring our brand thrives across one of its most diverse and strategically important regions. From Hallbergmoos, we partner closely with 34 retailers to deliver exceptional customer experiences and sustainable business growth. Our work directly supports Bentley’s Beyond100+ strategy, helping accelerate the transition to an electrified and sustainable future while maintaining the timeless appeal of the Bentley brand.
About You – Skills and Experience
- We’re looking for an accomplished commercial leader with deep automotive expertise and international experience. You will bring:
- Senior sales management experience, ideally within luxury or automotive.
- Proven capability in aftersales, retail operations and field network management.
- International experience with fluency in English and German (additional European languages a plus).
- Strong people leadership, with the ability to influence, negotiate and inspire.
- Commercial and strategic acumen, with budgeting and programme delivery expertise.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Flexibility to travel across Europe and to Headquarters in the UK.
