MAIN MISSION – Purpose
The Fleet Assistant supports Fleet Managers in their day-to-day work by accurately and timely recording of data relating to the maintenance and operations of wagons.
Its main role is to enter data into the system by providing administrative support (data inputs and outputs) to Fleet Managers. The Fleet Assistant may be required to perform report extractions at the request of Fleet Managers.
The Fleet Assistant contributes to the performance of fleet management and excellent customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Wagon Database Management:
- Record shop floor inputs and outputs
- Perform coding and prepare repair quotes according to instructions in Kheops
- Register spare parts and axle requests (H/HR models)
- Prepare extracts from the database to facilitate analysis by Fleet Managers
- Prepare rental proformas for clients
Relationship with workshops:
- Request and/or follow up with workshops to obtain missing data in quotes
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE
- Bac+2 level minimum
