Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, controlling, tax, and treasury management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial planning to support business growth.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and optimize working capital.
- Support management with financial analysis and business decision-making.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.
- Lead, develop, and supervise the finance team to achieve high performance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, Steuerberater) are a plus.
- Minimum 5–10 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, preferably in multinational companies.
- Strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB), IFRS, and local tax regulations.
- Solid experience in budgeting, controlling, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Leadership skills with proven experience in managing a team.
