The Role 

The Field Engineer is a hands-on technical contributor responsible for diagnosing and resolving vehicle software and hardware issues to keep the fleet operational. They will play a critical role in rapid fault triage, ensuring a 5-minute response time while strictly adhering to safety protocols. Working closely with fellow engineers and global teams, they will contribute to seamless operations through effective communication and problem solving. As part of a newly established function within Fleet Operations, the Field Engineer will help refine processes and drive efficiency in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

In order to set you up for success as a Field Engineer at Wayve, we’re looking for the following skills and experience.

This is a full-time role based in our office in Germany.  

This role will be shift-based, with a shift pattern consisting of an early shift for 2 weeks (06:00am - 15:00pm) and a late shift for 2 weeks (13:00pm - 22:00pm) rolling pattern, including weekends and bank holidays that will align with our on-site Fleet Servicing & Maintenance Technicians.
