Your Job
What this role looks like.
- Developing, assessing and implementing advanced E2E optimisation and simulation models to evaluate complex operational scenarios
- Analysing and interpreting extensive datasets to derive strategic insights and recommendations
- Collaborating with senior cross-functional teams to align simulation goals with the business strategy
- Conducting in-depth sensitivity analyses and validating simulation results to ensure maximum accuracy and reliability
- Presenting findings and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Driving innovation by staying up to date with trends in simulation and data science
Your Profile
What you bring with you.
- Degree in data science, operations research, engineering or a related field
- Extensive professional experience in developing and applying simulation models within complex environments and in-depth knowledge of AI technologies, such as reinforcement learning
- High proficiency with statistical analysis tools and programming languages (e.g. Python, R, MATLAB)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work both independently and as a leader in collaborative settings
- Excellent English skills in written and verbal communication
Desirable extras.
- Solid understanding of retail operations is an advantage
