About the role
As we continue to scale across Europe, we’re looking for a hybrid Customer Success & Onboarding/Migrations Specialist to join our team and support our German-speaking customers. This role blends onboarding and migrations responsibilities with customer success and expansion work — making it a key part of ensuring a smooth transition to Momence and long-term customer growth.
You’ll guide new customers through the onboarding process, support their data migration, and, over time, build relationships to help them adopt more features and drive value. You’ll also identify upsell opportunities and support our efforts to grow and retain revenue across the German market.
What you’ll do
Onboarding & Migration
- Guide new customers in Germany through onboarding and platform setup
- Coordinate smooth and accurate data migrations from previous platforms
- Conduct training sessions in German, helping business owners feel confident using Momence
- Work closely with technical and support teams to resolve onboarding/migration issues
- Provide exceptional, localized customer support throughout the onboarding process
Customer Success & Expansion
- Build strong relationships with customers after onboarding and maintain regular touchpoints
- Identify and nurture expansion opportunities (upsells, paid feature adoption)
- Lead product education conversations and help customers maximize Momence's tools
- Conduct proactive outreach to ensure engagement and reduce churn risk
- Share customer feedback to inform Product and Marketing decisions
About you
You’re a trusted advisor, fluent in German and English, who can support small business owners through both onboarding and long-term platform adoption. You’re proactive, organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about empowering customers. You’re excited to wear multiple hats and help shape our expansion in Germany.
What you should have
- Fluency in German and English (written & verbal)
- 2+ years experience in onboarding, customer success, implementation, or migrations
- Strong client-facing communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines across time zones
- Experience with data migration, spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets), and CRMs
- Comfort handling challenging customer conversations and objections
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote startup
We’ll be particularly excited if you also have
- Experience working in B2B SaaS, especially with fitness, wellness, or class-based businesses
- Previous experience in sales, expansion, or upsell conversations
- Familiarity with German business and data privacy practices (e.g., GDPR)
- Knowledge of other European languages
