What you’ll do & Who you are
Join Kleinanzeigen’s Advertising team and play a key role in accelerating our media business through strategic partnerships with media agencies. As Agency Group Lead, you will be the strategic face of our 1P advertising solutions - driving adoption, revenue growth, and client success across core verticals. You bring a strong agency network and understanding of digital media, and a collaborative mindset to help shape the future of agency partnerships at Kleinanzeigen.
This is a remote position, ideally based in Düsseldorf, Munich, Hamburg or Berlin - with hybrid work option in Berlin.
You report to the Team Lead Sales, Retail Media.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for media agencies, building and managing long-term relationships for advertising-related opportunities.
- Drive revenue growth by aligning Kleinanzeigen’s media solutions with agency and client needs.
- Represent our advertising value proposition in pitches, brief responses, QBRs, and strategic planning sessions.
- Collaborate with Sales Marketing to create customized materials and go-to-market initiatives tailored to agencies.
- Work cross-functionally with AdTech, Revenue Management, and Campaign Ops to ensure seamless campaign execution and performance optimization.
- Educate agency partners on our audience, capabilities, and tools to help them drive successful outcomes for their clients.
- Stay ahead of market trends and agency dynamics to uncover new opportunities.
- Ensure a high-quality, end-to-end experience across the sales lifecycle by working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Who You Are:
- You bring 5+ years of experience in media or digital advertising sales, ideally in an agency-facing role, with a proven track record of building and managing senior relationships.
- You’re well-versed in agency buying models – including programmatic, direct (IO), and integrated campaigns.
- You’re a strong communicator, negotiator, and presenter, skilled at influencing stakeholders across levels.
- You’ve successfully managed complex deal structures and delivered consultative sales solutions while proactively activating your agency network to drive growth.
- You’re passionate about digital innovation and bring a collaborative, entrepreneurial spirit.
- You are fluent in German and English.
